Family Therapy

Family holding hands in therapy

Family therapy seeks to restore unity and balance within the familial system by improving communication, problem-solving and coping skills, and/or enhancing connections. Family therapy is usually rooted in a systems approach, which means the counselor considers the entire family unit while addressing the presenting concern.
